About me

About Me - Przemysław MarcyniakI graduated from the flute class of the Department of Instrumental Studies, Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
My adventure with commercial music started with the success of my first project – music for the Dax Cosmetics TV commercials (aired in TVN, private Polish TV station). Composing music for commercials and websites is mainly based on computer systems and software. However, the bulk of my creative work consists in arranging and composing live music, which results in such works as arrangements for Tango Therapy show by Opium string quartet.
In 2008 I had my theatre debut. I wrote music for “Little Red Riding Hood” stage adaptation, which was launched on 31st May 2008 in the Dramatic Theatre in Płock. I wrote many background music pieces, radio jingles, including the lead theme for the Autumn Campaign of LOT Polish Airlines. Since 2004 I have cooperated, as a musician, with the Witold Lutosławski Symphonic Orchestra in Płock.
For many years I have been working with the Warsaw University Folk Song and Dance Ensemble “Warszawianka”; I have prepared a large number of arrangements and compositions for their Junior Group’s shows both in Poland and abroad.
